EIGRP Bandwidth use Accross WAN Links

  • Bandwidth usage
    • default 50% of the link set by bandwidth command
    • can by changed per interface by # ip bandwidth-percent eigrp
    • can be greater than 100
  • FrameRelay point-to-point subinterface
    • defaultはT1 (1.544Mbps)
    • PVCのCIRに合わせたほうがよい
  • FrameRelay multipoint subinterface
    • physical interfaceに設定されたbandwidthをPVCの数で割ったものがそれぞれのPVCの帯域として利用される。なのでCIRを超えないために複数のPVCの中で最小のCIRをPVCの数だけかけたものを設定するのがよい。広帯域のPVCがある場合は帯域を全て利用することはできないが狭帯域なPVCの帯域超過を防げる。非常に狭帯域なPVCが一本だけある場合は影響が多いのでpoint-to-pointにしたほうがよい。
